There is a lot of movement on the East side of Colorado Blvd. and 128th Avenue these days!
Bramming Farm North Suburban Medical Center medical campus is due to be complete in the coming months, complete with a helipad- Yes a helipad!! Inbound flight from the South, outbound to the North. This may or may not disurb residents in nearby neighborhoods- but I guess you have to ask yourself, "What is more important?" There will be no sound barrier wall built.

To my knowledge nothing is scheduled at this time to be constructed in the land to the East of Monaco and 128th. Being a nature advocate this makes me happy, as that land gives the Canada Geese a place to sun bathe and eat by day before flying off to Eastlake for the night in the Winter months. My guess is that once the recession is over there will be a gas station placed in the area....Total guess!
Speaking of recession.....How is the North Thornton economy doing?!!
Riverdale Park has about a 60 day on market average and the prices are down a bit from the summer.
Country Hills prices have suffered greatly over the last year thanks in part to the continuing short sales, and lack of desire for the small backyards and congested streets.
It is rumored that Brighton 27-J has plans to build a middle school North of 136th & Holly!!! For anyone with kids in 27-J this is BIG NEWS!!! I will keep my eyes and ears open and post as soon as I have more detail on that!
The City of Thornton has said they still intend on building a water park and recreation center at Trail Winds Park, they have just been slowed by the recession.
